<h2 style="text-align: center;"><span style="line-height: 1.3em;"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><img src="https://www.cookandsail.it/images/phocagallery/regata_2014/premiaz_1.jpg" border="0" width="551" height="360" /><br /></span></span></span></h2> <h2 style="text-align: center;"><span style="line-height: 1.3em;"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">COOK & SAIL - EDIZIONE 2014</span></span></span></h2> <span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"> </span></span> <h2 style="text-align: center;"><span style="line-height: 1.3em;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">La Marina di Scarlino - 13 settembre 2014</span></span></span></h2> </span> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Nell'edizione 2014 della veleggiata "Cook & Sail" gli equipaggi iscritti, tanto i marinai in coperta che i cuochi sottocoperta, hanno trovato le condizioni ideali per gareggiare.</span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Il meteo è stato assai favorevole: dopo i forti scrosci di pioggia del venerdì, sabato una bellissima giornata di sole, con visibilità eccezionale, ha accolto tutti i partecipanti.</span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Alla partenza, davanti alla Marina di Scarlino, spirava un debole vento di sud-sud-est, che poi col passare delle ore è girato da sud ed è cresciuto fino ai 10-12 nodi dell'arrivo.</span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Pochissima onda sul percorso, che prevedeva di risalire il vento fino allo scoglio dello Sparviero, da utilizzare come boa al vento, per poi ritornare in andatura portante fino alla linea d'arrivo dinanzi alla Marina di Scarlino<br />(circa 13 Mg. che con i bordi di bolina sono diventate oltre 16).</span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Quattordici imbarcazioni si sono cimentate nella competizione, organizzata quest'anno da quattro Circoli Velici:  <br /><em>Associazione Istruttori Volontari ed Allievi CVC - Quadrante Toscana<br /><span style="line-height: 1.3em;">Lega Navale Italiana - sez. di Firenze e Prato<br /></span><span style="line-height: 1.3em;">Pratovela<br /></span><span style="line-height: 1.3em;">Club Nautico Scarlino</span></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Terminato il percorso complessivo, le barche hanno tagliato la linea d’arrivo e poi, rientrate alla banchina del marina, hanno consegnato i piatti preparati con grande impegno dai cuochi durante la navigazione.</span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="line-height: 1.3em;">La giuria gastronomica, composta da quattro membri dell'Accademia Italiana della Cucina, ha attribuito il suo voto ai due piatti, </span><span style="line-height: 1.3em;">un salato ed un dessert, presentati da ciascuna barca, valutandone sia la bontà, sia l’estetica della presentazione.</span></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Anche quest’anno le ricette e le presentazioni dei piatti sono state di grande qualità, dimostrando che le capacità espresse da cuochi "dilettanti" possono essere di livello paragonabile se non superiore a quelle dei migliori chef professionisti.</span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">La classifica generale combinata, come previsto dal bando, ha tenuto conto in modo paritetico sia del piazzamento nella competizione velica, sia di quello nella gara gastronomica.</span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Il trofeo challenge Cook & Sail, destinato al 1° classificato nella combinata, è costituito da una preziosa "cecera" martellata in argento dell'argentiere Brandimarte, che viene rimessa in palio ogni anno.</span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Quest'anno il trofeo è stato vinto dall’imbarcazione LOLLOLILLA della Lega Navale Italiana sez. di Firenze e Prato, al comando di Massimo Borselli.</span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">La cuoca – Maria Cristina Degl'Innocenti – ha preparato come piatto salato del "<em>Riso & Gamberi "briachi" al curry</em>" e come dessert dei  “<em>Frutti di bosco alla Fiammetta</em>”.</span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Dopo l’esame della giuria, i partecipanti hanno potuto accedere al buffet per assaggiare e valutare in prima persona tutti i diversi piatti in competizione.</span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">In serata si è poi tenuta la premiazione, nel club "Puro Beach" della Marina di Scarlino.</span></p>
